would appear there was to be a lack of playing time for her

“I felt called in a different direction,” she said. “I loved the school and I loved everybody on that [LU] team. … It was just a lot of different things that kind of pushed me out of there. … It was a lot of little things that kind of made me think it wasn’t the place for me.”

Liberty coach Dot Richardson said Tincher could have remained on the team.

“It was awesome having her a part of the squad,” Richardson said. “We were expecting her to be a part of us growing.”

Tincher said she considered quitting softball and remaining at Liberty as a nonplaying student before opting to transfer.

A ¨bunch of little things¨ led her to believe Liberty wasn´t the place for her. I´m going to go out on a limb and say that 4 of those little things are the 4 new pitchers Dot signed last Fall. I´m sure she won´t be the only player transferring out, and considering her somewhat spotty performance last Spring, she certainly did well for herself landing a spot on a ranked South Alabama team.
