In the LU opener at the Holy City Showdown in Charleston ,SC, LU defeated Dartmouth 5-4.

LU splits 2 games today. lost to Jacksonville 5-2 and beat SC State 5-2.

LU beats Loyola of Chicago 2-1. Chandler Ball pitches 3 hitter .

Flames go 3-1 in Charleston if my memory is correct . Good road trip.

I believe once BSC play starts, LU is going to be better than projected. We are 7-11, but could easily be 11-7 had we had just a little luck in 4 of the defeats. We have played a tough schedule, which should help once BSC play starts this weekend.

I agree completely. The only challenge is getting some confidence for the sticks that have had to face quite a challenge in non-conference play.

Hopefully warmer weather will help, especially with the long ball. I believe we have hit only 6 home runs. By comparison, I believe Florida hit 9 in one game this season.
