The ladies open up their season Friday with games vs. Western Kentucky & Georgetown and then on Saturday they meet Ole Miss and the tourney host FGCU. Depending on things go down, they'll play somebody on Sunday to close out the weekend in Southwest Florida.

Any LU fans plan on attending?

Does adam still live down there? I doubt ToTheLeft shows up. He's moved on to bigger fish in Tampa.

Western KY beats LU 9-1. LU committed 5 errors leading to 8 unearned runs. Hopefully we will bounce back agaisnt Georgetown.

If we go 0-for the season, we have the right coach. Need to give her some time to get her players here. This is one sport that will be the least of our worries going forward.

Good post Flameshaw. If we were to go 0-52, I would not be worried about the future. Give Coach Richardson a couple seasons to being in her own recruits.

Somehow I missed this post earlier this month. I'm still down here in the Fort, but didn't get a chance to make it out to the games. It looks like I didn't miss too much.

I wanted to go to the tournament in OKC this past weekend, but couldn't find a break in my schedule. Our girls were clearly overmatched against Tulsa and OU. I'm looking forward to seeing Coach Dot get some of her recruits into the program.

Future looks bright. New recruits and new stadium on the way.
