The guys aren't the only ones swinging bats in the spring. You can follow the squad throughout the season and even get the latest on recruiting.

for a guy who is awfully sensitive you don't mind calling people out who add very little to this place do you?

As for the schedule, looks like a fairly balanced schedule

I think it would have been nice to get Georgia Southern or McNeese State because they both have former LU assistants on their staffs

Most of the 2014 schedule was set prior to the new coaches coming in. Coach Richardson and staff will probably have a much different looking schedule for nonconference play in 2015 and moving forward.

They have to get their RPI up in order to be invited to the bigger tournaments. It is currently 213... getting to play Oklahoma though... that is going to be a weekend to remember for the players.

SoFla... where have you been? :dontgetit

I am sure they will be taken by the Hall of Fame field in OKC on that run to Tornado Alley to remind them of their ultimate goals.

I'm surprised Tennessee isn't on the schedule. The previous head coach, Coach Wetmore, had a good relationship with the Tennessee coaches from what I've heard and we always used to play them.

The 2014 schedule was done while Coach Wetmore was still at LU. Coach Richardson was able to add the Oklahoma Tournament because there wasn't a trip planned for spring break in 2014.

LU hasn't played Tennessee during the regular season since 2009. However, look for that to change in 2015. I am sure LU will play some of the top programs in 2015, including Tennessee.

I'd like to see LU play OK and Alabama each year, plus other SEC and ACC schools. I cannot wait to see Coach Richardson have a couple recruiting classes and the new stadium. Future looks bright for LU softball.
