After finishing the regular season 19-34, the ladies entered the tourney seeded 6th and played #3 seed LWU (36-18) in the first round.

evidently played well enough to win, 5-3 and now advance to take on #2 Campbell today at 4:30 in Rock Hill, SC.

be great to send Coach Wetmore out on a high note by winning out...

Very impressive. Longwood's catcher has as many homers (28) as the entire LU team, or close to it.

Longwood wins BSC tourney and gets NCAA bid.

Personally I was not a big fan of allowing Longwood into Big South.Granted they have good softball team, but they watered down conference as a whole since they do not have a football team. Any time any conference lets in a non football school, it weakens conference in my opinion.
