Y'all play Winthrop Friday morning early in an elimination game, the winner plays G-W at 12:30.
We have one senior on our squad, and they apparently have decided to step up and play a bit of ball in Rock Hill today. Bodes well for the future no matter what happens Friday and/or Saturday.

Tiffani Smith throws a no hitter and Liberty wins 3-0 over Winthrop in an elimination game (Winthrop lost to Gardner-Webb last night). Lady Flames play the Lady Bulldogs at 12:30 in an elimination game for Liberty.

Indeed...Liberty has to beat G-W twice to make it to Saturday...Radford (#1 seed) has to do the same to Coastal to advance. if Coastal or G-W wins this afternoon, then they have to lose twice on Saturday...if both of them win, it sets up a winner take all game on Saturday (I think I am understanding that correctly)

Liberty wins their second game of the day defeating Gardner-Webb 1-0. Kat Johnson goes the distance allowing 4 hits. The same two teams will meet again in an elimination game at 5:30 pm with the winner facing the survivor or Radford-Coastal Carolina for the championship tomorrow at 12.

We've regained some momentum. Let's just hope our pitchers' arms aren't about to fall off.

we have two pitchers that have not thrown today if Coach Wetmore feels the need to call on them...Alyssa DiMartino and Grace Nordan but Im guessing he will go with one of his two biggest guns given the circumstances.

Don't try to read too much into my comment BJ, I just thought that was an interesting bit of trivia. And I agree, I don't care if they all scored on errors and we didn't have a hit, survive and advance at this point.
