Demonette pitcher signs with Liberty University

WARNER ROBINS — Demonettes senior Chandler Ball accepted a scholarship Nov. 10 to play softball and continue her education at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. “It’s everything we want in a school,” Ball said. “There’s a large campus. The coaches are very supportive. It just felt right. Everything pointed in that direction.”

Ball, the staff ace for Warner Robins High School, expects to pitch for the Flames, as well. She said there are two other pitchers on staff right now, but that Flames’ coach Paul Wetmore likes to share the load.
