A Sea Of Red

LU took all three from G-W (Gardner-Webb) by scores of 3-0, 7-6 and 4-0. their in teh fifth in the second game of a rare Sunday DH with GW (George Washington). They took game 1 10-1 in five innings and are leading 5-0 in game 2. Tiffani Smith (yes the pitcher) is 1-2 on the day.

LU wraps up a 5-0 weekend with a 10-0 win over the George Washington Colonials. Tiffani Smith went the whole way in game two and helped her own cause with a double in her first plate appearance. the ladies have won eight games in a row and 10 of 11.

Don't look now but that 8-game win streak has them in position to not only take the league title but possibly put themselves in nice position if they make the NCAA field.

i caught the last few innings of game two against George Washington and the ladies played really well and the softball field has some nice improvements with the bleacher additions.
