I see we have lost the double headers to JU and split with Stetson. Our record is something like 5-12. Anyone know why we are having a bad year in softball?

Looking at the schedule we've matched up with 5 teams ranked in the top 25 (lost all 5), lost to Cal Northridge (and they have good softball out west), and 6 of the losses have been by three runs or less including a couple recently that went down to the final inning. This is a very very young team (only I think 2 seniors) and there has been a heavy amount of turnover for reasons I dont know but Im guessing arent good.

The tough early season schedule is hurting us a bit. Can't seem to win against the Tennessees and the Florida States but not doing too bad against teams more on our level. Lost 2 heartbreakers aginst MTSU and Stetson. Our record should improve the further down the schedule we go since I don't think that the competition will be quite as tough. We seem to be more competitive this year vs last year but not quite up to the previous year.
