The guys aren't the only ones swinging bats in the spring. You can follow the squad throughout the season and even get the latest on recruiting.

That’s been the most fun for me. These girls know they’re good and act like it. They expect to win

My son and I were glued to the tv. Very pumped. South Carolina led the SEC in home runs this year and we out hit them 10-2 heading into the last inning.

For what it's worth, the ASUN's representative in the tournament, Kennesaw State, is 2 and done, losing yesterday to Auburn and today to Jacksonville State.

The pitcher who threw the perfect game, Dandola, is their #2. She came in in relief against us after we got to the starter in the 10th. They obviously have good pitching.

SC has jumped out to a 3-0 lead on Hofstra. Dandola was touched for a 2 run homer and was replaced after 1 inning by Cornell, who pitched against us.

Hofstra started her vs South Carolina. SC got 3 runs in first inning. They brought their ace in. Their ace should have started game in my opinion. Coach got too greedy with the #2 pitcher in my opinion.

She had just finished a perfect game, which not only means she was pitching great, but probably she did not throw a lot of pitches. Not the same opponent however.

If so, maybe the baseball team should follow suit.

I don’t know her entire story, but the more I hear about it, the more I’m proud to see someone like Julia DiMartino representing our school. She should be celebrated more.

I'm so impressed by Julia's story. I'd love for her to be able to share it. The support she's received really reflects who we are as an institution. I think the general public would really be impressed with her. I know I am.

Her stats through two games:
17 IP, 9 hits, 1 r, 1 er, 2 bb, 16 k, 0 wp, 0 hbp, 267 pitches thrown - 180 for strikes. I can't imagine a better stat line in that kind of situation against that level of competition.
