The guys aren't the only ones swinging bats in the spring. You can follow the squad throughout the season and even get the latest on recruiting.

ok. Issue:

for several weeks now the "Softball East View" cam has not been functional.

I have therefore devised a multi-option solution, as follows:

1. fix "Softball East View Cam" or at least the link to same
2. adjust "Softball Stadium" up and to the left to include panoramic view of the 1st base-line and concourse.
3. assign an intern to stand out there and film/photo the progress on an hour-by-hour basis, then post online for my viewing pleasure

any/or all of these would be appropriate- please have this done by the end of the business day tomorrow.

posted below is a handy diagram. thank you for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.

In today's local paper, there was an article about a Brookville softball player, and it mentioned that the high school playoffs would be held at Liberty Univeristy this weekend.
“I told the team before the season started, that four years ago, I never thought Morgan would be a captain for us,” said Ferguson, who will lead his team to the Group 3A state semifinals at Liberty University on Saturday.

Does that mean it will held at our NEW softball stadium???

Pa is right...if its not finished there is no point in having games there, so I would reckon it will be at the old stadium. the sight of the new stadium can be used as a selling point though with 2016 recruits

You did get a point

However you lose a point because you know there are several ways to get an occupancy permit.

The Team USA coach praises our new stadium:
Two selling points for Liberty University’s softball program — its new stadium and its head coach, Olympic gold medalist Dot Richardson — left members of the USA Women’s National Team awestruck on Tuesday.

“It’s probably one of the state-of-the-art softball stadiums in the United States right now,” Team USA Head Coach Ken Eriksen said after visiting the facility, which is in the final phases of construction. “You’re not going to find that kind of ballpark anywhere in the country, no matter what conference you’re in. It’s a palatial park for any student-athlete to want to come to.”

someone missed the deadline I imposed but I'll overlook it.

I still think I'm going to need to spend a day down there re-orienting the camera angles.

less parking lot shots; more diggers.

obviously my insight is needed (aka: looking a gift horse in the mouth)

Took an impromptu tour of the stadium with JB yesterday. It's really something. Going to be pretty incredible. Really good use of space. Locker rooms, etc., will be underneath the seats. Offices up top will have a nice balcony view of the entire stadium. Good setup for TV, concessions and what not. Jeff said he expects it to be done in late September, in time for fall ball.
