Liberty vs Hampton for the championship of the Blue Ridge Thunder Softball tournament at 3 PM. 90.9 FM will have that game for you. We win 4-3 with a run in the 5th and another in bottom of 7th...

wow, great ending! bases loaded, hit in the outfeild and the outfielder missed the catch. that was bottom of the 7th so that ended it

That was a very interesting game...that sequence in teh 5th that led to the tying run was something straight out of tee-ball. The bases were loaded, line drive to teh third baseman for Hampton, she drops it, tags the girl retreating to the bag (she was safe, as another runner comes to third at the same time. The runner coming from second one is tagged, Jessica Moore (she is called out). while this is going on, the first runner that was on third raced home and tied the game. and two runners ended up on first base yielding the third out.
