The guys aren't the only ones swinging bats in the spring. You can follow the squad throughout the season and even get the latest on recruiting.

The bulldogs would have to beat us twice to move on. We were in this exact position a few years back and lost 2 in a row (Clemson, I believe). Hoping we take care of business in the first game today. Love the national exposure!
Not watching, but received a notification of another game at one. Guessing this didn't happen. Hopefully that they can learn from any errors and get the win.

Hopefully they score all their runs for the day in game 1.

so far, what you can take to the bank is every year, close but no cigar. Very tough way to lose. Hard to watch!

I'm sorry but this team seems to choke at the wrong time in regionals under this staff. No I'm not calling for anyone to be fired but that's an observation since 2018.

With all due respect, you may want to reconsider your characterization of the term" choke" in describing this heartbreaking loss. The fact is there is a distinct talent disparity between any SEC team and Liberty. To beat #5 LSU at LSU 1 out of 3 and then beat #11 Georgia 1 out of 3 at Georgia (and one out from making it 2 out of 3) speaks to the heart of the team and coaches. Escobar pitched a masterpiece and put it all out there all weekend, given she pitched in all 4 games.

It's evident sportscritic knows very little, (if anything) about softball. Liberty did not choke. Georgia just came up with a couple of clutch hits.

If Keeney and Hudson had stayed, Liberty would have been hosting a regional.

I just watched the post game presser and was reminded how blessed LU is to have DR as the head coach. I think it is a fact that often, especially after a tough loss, our testimonies shine the brightest. Of course, as a former coach, I wanted to win all the time but, my personal testimony was challenged the greatest after losses. That’s where DR sets a very high standard! She models for all of us how to have the “joy of the Lord” under all circumstances. I know that I needed to be reminded of this and couldn’t be prouder of the Lady Flames. Go Flames and time to move to the football message board! 🙂

Escobar was a very very good pitcher until the 7th inning. Give her props for her excellent display. My only criticism was that Escobar should have been pulled out in the 7th inning. The Georgia hitters have seen her a third time that game plus the other 2 games she pitched against Georgia. Against good hitters, a pitcher cannot continue to win the match ups. They will eventually get their timing against her. Even the first out was a hard line drive to the fence that was caught. Then, after the next 2 hits, they should have put a different pitcher to show different angles and speed to the Georgia hitters to keep them off balance. We all could taste the Super Region coming our way. BUT, it was not meant to be.

If Escobar had been replaced after the first hit, and the outcome was the same, you’d be saying the coach was wrong for pulling Escobar. We know your tune: Coaches are always wrong.

(See, I can play the What If Game, too.)

I have been in this game and involved in this game much more than you ever dreamed of. You are making a lot of assumptions. I know the nature of this game. Escobar pitched a lot of innings and the opposing hitters had seen her a lot. This is one of my criticisms I have with Jack-sin in baseball. Time after time, Jackson leaves pitcher in the game too long and cost them the game. I am consistent with my views. This past game with softball, is a similar thing, leaving a pitcher out there too long.
