Now the competition stiffens! UCF is currently 5-1 with wins over Illinois (2), N.C. State, JMU and CSU Bakersfield. Their only loss was to 12th ranked Georgia. Top of the lineup has done the damage with the first 2 hitters currently over 400 and the 3rd and 4th wee over 300. Should be a great test to start this Invitational!

LU with a nice come from behind win against UCF. Flames score 1 in the 5th and 3 more in the 6th to get the victory 5-4. Bachman with another outstanding outing on the mound pitching the final 4 innings. She had 5 k’s and still has an unblemished era of 0.00!
