Last week, Arnold rising Senior Sarah Robertson was recognized as one of the top athletes in the country, as the National Fastpitch Coaches Association honored her performance this year as a Lady Marlin with South Region 2nd Team honors.
Robertson was one of just 160 girls across the country to receive All Region status, an accolade that was earned by nomination and selection by NFCA member coaches in each of the five high school regions.

PANAMA CITY BEACH — Sarah Robertson would be incredibly fortunate if she carves out even half of the career enjoyed by U.S. softball legend Dot Richardson.
Robertson, a junior at Arnold, has verbally committed to play softball at Liberty University, where Richardson was named the head coach in mid-July. Richardson, who is arguably the most acclaimed softball player this country ever has produced, hit the game-winning home run in the gold medal game of the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, and she added a second gold medal in Sydney, Australia, in 2000.
