The Lady Flames get a little homestand here and they start it in style with a sweep over Hampton 7-2 and 16-3

In the second game, Liberty hit six home runs including a pair of three run bombs from Kelly Strickland. Ashley Bensinger celebrated her birthday in style, going 2-3 with a home run. Grace Nordan made her first appearance allowing no runs on 2 hits while Alyssa DiMartino went 5 innings to pick up her second win. LU has now won 6 in a row and is 20-18 on the year

Liberty gets the sweep over Norfolk State 9-0 and 7-1. Kat Johnson and Grace Nordan combined for a five inning no-hitter (first since 2009) and Kelly Strickland had two more home runs (for a league leading 14) and 7 RBIs (giving her 13 in two games).

Congrats to Coach Paul Wetmore as he becomes the first coach in Liberty history and third coach in Big South history to amass 500 career wins with the sweep today.
