Mr. and Mrs. George Ezra Potter Jr. of Sylvania, Georgia are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Leona Sylvia Potter, to Benjamin James Griggs, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wills Griggs Jr. of Myrtle Beach.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leland Eugene McCravy and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Ezra Potter Sr. She is a graduate of Liberty University and is employed at Greener Grass Hair Color and Designs Inc. in Savannah, Ga.
