Wimberley developer Neal Askew and his wife, Anita, have put their 83-acre Double N Ranch on the market for $6 million.
The main house, at 580 Spoke Hollow Road, has three bedrooms, 31/2 bathrooms and 5,890 square feet. Alan Askew, the couple's son and a former Republican candidate for the Legislature, built the home.
The son and his family plan to move to Virginia, and the elder Askews want to split their time between Texas and Virginia to be closer to the family.
Neal Askew and son Alan are closely associated with the Rev. Jerry Falwell's Liberty University in Virginia. The elder Askew sits on the school's board of trustees, and the son is a graduate of the university.Click Here for Full Story
In 2004, in the son's unsuccessful effort to unseat state Rep. Patrick Rose, D-Dripping Springs, Falwell spoke on the candidate's behalf during a Central Texas appearance.
In addition, Alan Askew's wife was Falwell's receptionist.
