Dude, I hadn't thought about the Screaming Statue in over 20 years. Do they still spread the rumors, er, legend of that statue on campus?

I try to work the screaming statue into my Freshman Seminar lectures about unique things in and around the Lynchburg area.

Some friends of mine did a documentary on it for one of their video projects. It was pretty good actually.

We would get two guys to each get a date. A third guy would hide in the trunk and slip out and go into the cemetery and scare the two couples. Did it many times. Those were the days in the 70's
