Kristen Rena’ Buxton of Rockledge, Fla., and Matthew Clayton Branch of Cocoa, Fla., were married at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Darrell Welling, grandfather of the groom, performed the ceremony.

The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Buxton of Florence. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carrigan Weatherford of Darlington, and Ms. Jean M. Buxton of Florence and the late Maurice Reginald Buxton Sr.

She is a graduate of Liberty University and is employed by The Early Learning Coalition of Brevard County in Rockledge.

WOW, these people are from my hometown and I have no clue who they are (Viera and Rockledge share the same zip code). We need to start endorsing the alumni stickers better. Out of the half a million people that live in this county, I know of 3 people that went to LU.
