The gathering place for LU alumni to wax nostalgic about their glory days and tell current students how easy they have it. Old hags & bright-eyed and bushytailed recent grads both welcome.

Dunk team puts on a good show for Summers crowd, Emily Daniel and the Shady girls try to keep pace with Summers

Story by Mike Levin

Travelling around the country and entertaining basketball fans. That's the primary function of the Liberty Soar. But as Summers County fans found out at last week's Pit Row Classic, the quartet isn't all about dunking.

"It creates excitement, something you don't see everyday and as you can tell by the buzz around here, they like to be here and they like to talk about it and it's fun," said Summers County Athletic Director Wayne Ryan.

The players are passionate about what they do, and appreciate their fans in the Mountain State, such as the Bobcat faithful. "Summers County, they've been some of the best crowds we've dunked for and I can tell they really like it and we love coming here," says senior Josh Roberts.
