It appears he has landed in Pennsylvania ...
Golden Bear men are a PSAC force
Kutztown returns its top six scorers and adds two transfers.

It's easy to see why the Kutztown University men's basketball team will command a lot of respect in the rugged PSAC East this season.

The Golden Bears return the top six scorers from a team that went 17-11 and reached the playoffs for a school-record fifth consecutive season, and two talented transfers add depth.
The bench will be bolstered by the transfers of Dan Lewis, a 6-6 outside shooter from NJIT and point guard Steve Coffey, a Reading native who transferred from Liberty University.

actually as one of steve's best friends and teammates last year, i remember steve being one of the best ball players on our campus.it was a shame that he nor any of our freshman class got the respect on the court that we deserved but steve was far from a bad player.he didnt pass enough but he scored at will.he has a 6-4 guard playing in front of him that's why he's not playing as much.dont hate on the man b/c he's gone...

this is great......you've never seen me play with Steve....

His team never beat mine so he cannot be that good, because we weren't good.

All he did was dribble behind his back, get stuck, then shoot up a brick.......a bad version of LB

I played in the handicapped midget league with PAmedic :D

I think every year the new kids think they have some D1 athletes among them 8)

wait mr.DICKens...i know for a fact that whoever you are we beat you.that season we didnt lose until the final four where we lost to vanilla who had the refs on there side...not an excuse just a fact (we still shouldve kept playing).steve not only was a good player but a good person.he was my best friend and accountability partner so just because you can't guard him doesnt mean he was a bad player...and when did you ever see steve miss that often.thats what ticked people off was that his jumper was almost always wet so you wouldnt ever get a chance to score.you might win but you would not score.

p.s. if you did somehow beat us, i hope you're not one of those kids who hops on a good team just to get a championship in INTRAMURALS...it's just basketball...and im not from KU im still a LU student(iono if that was directed to me or not but just to clarify)

you mean that same try out when coach dunton lied and said that he had walk-on spots when they said during the summer that they weremt gonna pick anybody up? do your research...so in essence yes, there was a chance but it was about as much of a chance as you would have not trying out at all trust me when i tell you this.real talk.

and actually if you ever talked to steve he gave up other offers to come to liberty for his spiritual life, you know the whole Jesus thing.basketball wasnt his focus and the only reason he left was so that his parents wouldnt have tot pay as much for school...out f the goodness of his heart.so back off and stop hating.it's not a good habit and it cuts your life expectency down.
