Calvary adds staff members

CRESAPTOWN — Calvary Christian Academy, in its 35th year of offering a Christ-centered education to the tri-state community, announces the following additions to its faculty and staff and a new Daycare Program director for the 2007-08 school year.
New additions to the CCA faculty this year are Nicole Growden, kindergarten teacher; Erica Jolley, fourth-grade teacher, Chris Marchand, Bible teacher; Luisa Hays, high school science; and Brenda Umbel, who returns to teach sixth-grade after taking a year off. Amy Klemm and Sonya Morgan, a CCA alumna, join the front office staff.
Christopher Marchand is a graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., and is in the process of finishing his masters of art in religion with an emphasis in church ministries from Liberty College. Marchand comes to CCA from Akron, Ohio, where he served as a director of youth ministry programs and as a family ministries pastor. He and his wife Tricia have relocated to Cumberland just as the new school year begins and are joining Calvary Baptist Church.Click Here for Full Story
