I just ran across this, Hout is coaching my former high school's football team. They just started their program about 4or 5 years ago.

No matter what anyone thought of him as a coach, he was one of the nicest folks I've ever met. I worket on his weekly coaches TV show for a year. It was a blast. When he got canned, we all went to his house and he told us there. It turned into his wife making us all dinner and we had a bit of a party believe it or not. Anyway what do I know because I thought he was a great coach too. I wish him the best.

Don't even get Hburg started on Coach Hout. I agree that he was a first class individual and he did an above average job for us during our DII days especially as a recruiter. Glad to see him still doing well in the Sunshine State.

He looks the same as he did on campus except for a few pounds in the midsection. Then again, the same could be said for most of us Old Hags on here.

I may have to go down there and check out the old ball coach.

Morgan's like the girlfriend in whom you didn't realize what you had until they are gone. The grass looked brighter elsewhere but it wasn't.

I got to play one season under Coach Hout and thought he was a good man and a good coach. He took a team that wnet 2-9 the year before he go there and went 5-6 with only 6 or 7 seniors on the team. I truly wish him the best.

Somebody please contact Morgan and ask him what it will cost us to have him remove his curse--the "curse of Morgan Hout."
So far, it's bitten us twice this season, and it HURTS.

We coached against Coach Hout down in S. Fla. Great guy. He had major back surgery a year or so ago.
