The gathering place for LU alumni to wax nostalgic about their glory days and tell current students how easy they have it. Old hags & bright-eyed and bushytailed recent grads both welcome.

Ten Former Wolves Will Grace Opening Day AFL Rosters
02/27/07 - arenafootball2 (af2) Manchester Wolves

The Manchester Wolves, New Hampshire's professional arenafootball2 team, are proud to announce that 10 of their former players, Greg Krause, Jake Eaton, Matt D'Orazio, Nick Myers, Carter Warley, J.J. McKelvey, Brian Mance, Steve Gonzalez, William Haith and Steve Bellisari have all made their team's respective opening day roster for the 2007 Arena Football League season which starts this Thursday March 1.

Haith (5'11, 190, DB), will enter his first season with the New Orleans VooDoo and second season in the AFL after appearing in two games with the Dallas Desperados in 2006. In 34 games played for the Wolves during the 2005-2006 seasons the Liberty University star recorded 218.5 total tackles, 11 interceptions, 68 pass breakups, four fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles. Haith currently holds three Manchester Wolves all-time records.

Here's an update. Apparently he had a great season last year for the VooDoo.

Rampage Sign Former VooDoo Top DB Haith, Four Others
11/13/07 - Arena Football League (AFL) Grand Rapids Rampage

GRAND RAPIDS - After adding one of the Arena Football League's top defensive backs in Ahmad Hawkins (Hampton, Va.) earlier this offseason, the Rampage improved their secondary once again with the signing of William "Roc" Haith (Washington, D.C.). Last year, Haith led the New Orleans VooDoo with 66.5 tackles and four interceptions in his first full season in the AFL.

A 5-10, 192-pound defensive back out of Liberty University, Haith has established himself as one of the league's heavy hitters despite his size. After a brief two-game stint with the Dallas Desperados in 2006, Haith stepped into the spotlight early last season with the VooDoo, logging a team season-high 12 tackles against the eventual ArenaBowl champion San Jose SaberCats on April 13.

"This is a very physical and versatile athlete," said Steve Thonn, Rampage head coach and director of football operations. "He can play all three defensive back positions, and is excellent on special teams."

Hardly and Arena Football youngster, Haith made a name for himself in arenafootball2 as well, setting a league record with 121.5 tackles for the Manchester Wolves in 2005. Over the course of his three-year (2003, 2005-06) af2 career he totaled 206 tackles, nine interceptions and 69 pass breakups. Additionally, Haith spent time in training camp with the NFL's Washington Redskins and the Canadian Football League's Toronto Argonauts in 2004.

Rampage's Haith hopes for FBI career after football

The Grand Rapids Press

KENTWOOD -- William "Roc" Haith acknowledges he is a bit of a thrill seeker and loves the unexpected.

The 27-year-old Washington, D.C., native gets that feeling every time he lines up at defensive back for the Grand Rapids Rampage.

Those are some of the reasons he chose what he did for his post-football career.

Haith already has begun the process of becoming a special agent in the FBI.

"Because of the thrill," Haith said of the reason for his decision. "And I believe they are the premier agency. Growing up, the FBI was always on TV, so if you have to be an agent, why not be in the FBI? It's the premiere agency."

Considering the horrific ankle injury he had in Spring ball one year...he has had quite the recovery and comeback.
