Former Jew to speak for Decatur banquet


Sol Pitchon, the son of Greek Jews who survived the Holocaust, will speak in Decatur at a banquet for the Pregnancy Resource Center. The event will be at Decatur Baptist Church, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m.

Pitchon was born in Thessalonica, Greece. He immigrated to the United States in 1951 and became a Christian in 1981.

He is president of the Pregnancy Center of Pinellas County, Fla. Pitchon has worked as a Christian psychotherapist in private and hospital settings and earned a master's degree in counseling from Liberty University.
