I think your prayers should be with the minor he statutorily raped.

Everyone involved in this sad situation could use prayer and guidance.

Very surprised to see this. I did an online search and have not seen that a trial has been set. It appears he is still in jail.

Everytime an update is posted on this I just get so sad for his wife and child and for the victims. This is just so sad.

indeed it is. I did not know he was married with a child. that make it worse, not to mention the victims. sad situation all around.

Thankfully his wife has moved on and is remarried now. Her new husband is great with both kids and it seems like they've made the best of a terrible situation and have bounced back well.

That is great to hear. I hope the victims have bounced back as well. I didnt know the guy but those who did know him seemed surprised by this. So sad.

Sentenced to eight years and another trial to come in September.

I shake my head with each new article about this case...he was probably my favorite QB from my time as a student at LU

This is finally over. 12 years in the Florida State Prison system. Very sad, but justice was served.

Such a sad story. I feel for the victim and it is always so sad to see someone make such destructive choices.
