The gathering place for LU alumni to wax nostalgic about their glory days and tell current students how easy they have it. Old hags & bright-eyed and bushytailed recent grads both welcome.

Liberty's Honors Program students have been accepted at 7 of the 8 Ivy League graduate schools, and the most recent is Doug Stephens, a former Quiz Bowler, who was accepted at 13 top-tier law schools but has chosen to attend Harvard Law School.

We're still trying to get into Princeton and have gotten as far as the interview process, but no acceptance yet. :nono
Sadly, Princeton doesn't have a law school, or Doug would have almost certainly gotten in there.

I hate to say this because of your already oversized ego, but that's pretty cool. :D

JMU may not have a Quiz Bowl team, but they do have a top notch Honors College. But, in comparision to their 6 National Merits, LU's Honors Program has 200 National Merits: 90 National Merit Finalists (on full scholarship) and 110 National Merit Commended students (on a full tuition scholarship).

But to be fair, JMU is sharing in our Harvard news about Doug Stephens: after Doug left LU, he got his M.A. in English at JMU, and went there on a full ride.
