I would love to see the Clemente film. I am a huge fan who got to see him play up close and personal many, many times from the first row of the right field seats when I was going to HS in Pittsburgh. I could catch a bus 6 blocks from my house directly to 3 river's stadium and get GA youth tickets for $2. We (me and my brother and 2 sisters) went way early so we could be first in line when the gates open and run to get those first row seats to get the best view of the great one.
To be honest with you, although he was universally respected as a man of the highest charactor, this is the first time I have heard that he was a born-again christian. His teammate Manny Sanguillen was more open about his faith and was the go-to-guy for the local churches who wanted a player to speak or promote a special event.
