Danny is also the co-pastor of Highland Park Baptist Church:

And I think his wife Susan is a VP of the college, and his son Eric also works at the school and leads worship at the church.

I have a LU Alumni friend who is the Alumni Relations Director at Regent University. She was at Tennessee Temple Recruiting for Regent’s grad school. With permission, she set up her Regent table and started to talk to students. Danny Lovett walked up to her and started to ream her out about recruiting on the TT campus. She smiled, looked at him and said, “Jesus is what?” Classic.

Come on. Give the guy a break.
Eric Lovett, Director of Media and Worship
Eric began his ministry at Liberty University / Thomas Road Baptist Church. After a time of running from God, Eric found God leading him back into the music ministry. He believes that everyone deserves a chance to have that victory in life, and that worship is a great avenue for freedom to take place. Eric is also current worship coordinator for Lead Like Jesus.

Cha-CHING!$!$!$!$!$!$!$!

(if you knew how much money he made off of the required new packages of his books for the required evangelism class that every student at LU was required to take and how infrequently he was there... you'd be less than thrilled)

that being said, probably not the best idea to bring Eric into all of it. He's a good guy. Less than stellar situation, but the end result was largely because somebody wanted daddy's job and thought if they could try and manufacture a scandal, they could have it - end result, they still didn't get the job, drug some people's names through the mud and really hurt Eric. I hope he's doing well and that God is blessing his life and would love to have the chance to grab some lunch with him sometime and see what all he's been doing lately.

They are all still in Chatty. Danny actually co-wrote a book that is getting quite a bit of promotion right now.

At the time of publishing it might have been for a brief few months. Everything is relative.
