If you remember Marc Andre, he has all the old songs on here. I'd love to hear some old school Liberty Noise, or Reality Check songs. Does anyone remember the compilation CD that was put out by various Liberty bands in the late 90's?? I really thought the music was bad back then....it doesn't get better with age, although it does bring back some memories!!

Marc Andre. Haven't heard that name in a while. Back then, I thought his stuff was cool until Rob Jackson (the Dean of Uncool) started pimping it from the platform in convocation. I remember in '93, when Reality Check was a much poorer act than they would eventually end up being performing in convo and literally getting laughed off the stage.

I have no idea who any of these people/groups are but there are definatly many performers that this happened to during my tenure. You would just have to sit in your seat, cringe and feel bad for them.

When Connection Band had Kevin Smith they had some style. His voice overcame their pedestrian musicianship.

I know I am late to this party, but when I read the post a few up from me, I automatically heard "Transformation Cruuusade" the way they announced themselves. Gosh, I had forgotten all about them. And I was/am not a fan of that type of music but for some reason, that bit of trivia stuck in my head.

Thanks for jarring some really funny memories.
