Altavista Elementary School gets assistant principal

Matt Hildebrand, who has spent the last five years coaching high school basketball, will work with a younger crowd when the new school year starts.

Hildebrand, 38, is the new assistant principal at Altavista Elementary School. He started his job July 1.
