The gathering place for LU alumni to wax nostalgic about their glory days and tell current students how easy they have it. Old hags & bright-eyed and bushytailed recent grads both welcome.

We were in the same boat. Only planned on staying for 2 years when we moved here in 2011. North River is a good church from what I hear. We know a few people that go there. Stay safe during the storm

Haven't posted here for a minute. LU '01 grad. Now both of my kids are at LU. My wife just dropped them off a few weeks ago. My son was recruited to play D1 Rugby at GCU and played there for 2 years. Let's just say GCU is not Liberty in almost every way. We were disappointed. He decided to give up rugby and transfer. They are doing great so far! Proud to have some new flames in our family.

Wow, I always thought GCU was just Liberty West. I know you said “in almost every way”. But can you be more specific? How was GCU not what your son was looking for?

Prayers his experience at LU is a great one!
