The gathering place for LU alumni to wax nostalgic about their glory days and tell current students how easy they have it. Old hags & bright-eyed and bushytailed recent grads both welcome.

Not sure how old this info is:

Texas sized promotion:

Texas Motor Speedway Director of Tickets Kevin Camper has been promoted to Director of Business Development. Speedway vice president and general manager Eddie Gossage made the announcement today. Camper, a 1993 graduate of Liberty University, joined the speedway in August of 1996 as ticket manager. Prior to that, he served as season ticket coordinator for the Texas Rangers Baseball Club. He was promoted to Director of Tickets at Texas Motor Speedway in 2000. Camper has been instrumental in streamlining the camping and ticket sales operation, and he has provided creative new opportunities for fans that purchase single event or season tickets.(TMS PR)(2-28-2003)

this is very old info. kevin and i grew up together in roanoke. he was on the LU baseball team as well when they went to the regionals for the first time. i have had the oppty. to see quite a few races through him. he also used to work for the texas rangers baseball team as well. he does a great job at the track and is respected through speewday motorsports, who owns several tracks. he is married now and has a couple of kids. a quality guy who i personally miss not seeing on a regular basis.
