Joy Renee Barefoot and Matthew Christopher Aldrich, both of Raleigh, exchanged wedding vows May 10 at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Eddie Maynard officiated at the 6 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of David and Teresa Barefoot of Wilson. She is the granddaughter of Wilbur and Linda Thorne and Bill and Margaret Barefoot, all of Wilson. She graduated from Community Christian School and received a degree in family and child development from Liberty University. She is a full-time nanny.
