Buffalo Wild Wings Incident

Putting aside the details of what occurred this past weekend, the fact remains that the incident has left a trail of destruction that touches all around us.
With that frame of mind, I'd like to request prayer for the victim and his family asking for physical and emotional healing.
I also ask that we reserve judgement for a moment and hold up the accused in prayer as well. Their futures are in serious peril and it is times like this when God can do major work in lives. I'm also prayer their families who are going through crisis as well.
There are no winners in an event like this and everyone could use a shower of prayers right now.

Yeah, our society is so quick to judge. That's what I hate about it. The naysayers will jump all over this for something to dig at LU about. Prayers for all involved.

Good thread idea. These guys made a bad decision...prayers for the victim and family and also for the LU students involved.

"Trail of destruction that touches all around us"? Come on, Houston, this wasn't a tornado. I nominate this as the Most Melodramatic Thread of 2008.

If you want to see a trail of destruction from a tornado, drive down I-40 in Greensboro. Holy crap.

Yeah, I agree with the above posts. Calling this a "trail of destruction" is a bit over the top, especially in light of recent events. If this is a trail of destruction, then what is thousands dead in two separate natural disasters in foreign countries? What is dozens of Americans dead from tornadoes? Poor choice of words, blowing the situation out of the water a bit...

prayer is need of course...but i think things are starting to come to light that has made it obvious that this story was blown way out of proportion...it was more a news channel looking for a sexy headline...

guys this thread is for prayer about the entire situation, and not a thread about smart aleck (sp.) comments. there are many details not out now about this situation that have affected many people negatively so please keep the comments about prayerful thinking and not your opinions about who is right/wrong and what the wording in a post is. thanks!

Folks, I for one will be praying for this situation all the way around. This situation could get out of hand in a hurry and all these folks need God's touch.

Especially around the Sandy Ridge Road exit. Lots of big trees snapped like twigs. On Sunday there was still a tractor trailer flipped over near the Farmer's Market. My condo is about 5 miles from there. I was watching I Am Legend the night the tornado went through and I must have had it up pretty loud because I didn't even hear the storm outside.

Probably not a good place to ask, but what happened that needs prayer?
