A Sea Of Red

I don't want to be a baby about it , but I've got an injury and wouldn't mind some prayer for it. My hand got shut in the door of our SUV this morning. I've got a black finger and a lot of pain in my right hand right now. It wouldn't be such a big deal but it got the tips of my fingers and, well, that's pretty much all I use to do my job. I make my living by using a keyboard. I'm typing pretty slow right now, but I'm going to have to fight through it. Anyway, prayer would be appreciated.

I have one of those drills...if it IS blood under the nail beds.

a doctor visit may be needed to relieve any pressure, but my prayers are with you man..i know that has to hurt bad.

You may have also cracked the finger-tip. Very very possible. Starting to sound like an ER visit is in your future. They have GREAT MEDS that help with the pain.

Yeah we have all seen what they did to medic......

Haven't visited a doc yet since I just rolled back into Lynchburg about an hour ago. However, at some point the pressure became unbearable. I thought my fingertip was just going to explode. So, on the advice of many a website, I went the red-hot paperclip route and burned a hole in my nail to drain the blood. Muuuuuuuch better. I can bend my finger again and the nail isn't nearly as sensitive. It's still pretty bruised, but I can certainly live with it now.
