A weird Prayer Request

i feel kinda funny about this request, but since im a single guy, my dogs are my family. well my mini-dachshund rusty came down with a mysterious respiratory illness wednesday night when i went to pennsylvania for thanksgiving. i have taken rusty to an emergency vet in pa. and then to my regular vet here in roanoke, and then they sent me to Va. tech vet hospital where he will be for the time being since they are specialists. i know some will say "it's just a dog" well that's fine, but they are my kids so im doing everything i can till i know that nothing can be done. The Lord provided the funds to start this process, so im praying for additional funds and that the vets can figure out what is wrong with my little buddy. so please pray for him, the vets, and that i can secure additional funds to pay off this process.

There's nothing to apologize for in this request. I think most of us have dogs or have an appreciation for them.

We have a mini-dachshund in our house as well man, and it's as much a member of our family as any of the humans. We'll be praying for you and Rusty both.

As I read the post, I couldn't help but think that I would do all that I can to help my little girl (cocker spaniel) if she got sick so you have my prayers here in Florida.

Really that is not an odd request at all smoothie. We had a dog named Sandy from the time he was a pup all the way up until he had to be put down at the age of 14. He was just as much a part of our family as anybody else. We would take him everywhere. He actually was in a play at our school when my younger sister was in the 8th grade. You have my prayers bro
