was let go by Bank of America due to the problem with mortgage credit issue hitting America.
I am not worried, Romans 8:28.
I would covet your prayers that God will lead me in the directions I should go.
Thanks

If I can be of any help, please let me know. I have been there a few times and every time, things came out better for me. That is not in any way an attempt to underestimate the present concern and future unknown. You are definitely in my prayers.

It happened to me back after the market crash in the late 80's. Just keep your head high, stay flexible and move if you have to. I went from Chicago to Seattle and got to live in a great up and coming city. After a year I was earning more $$$ with less stress. The old firm kept shrinking is is now a shell of what it once was. Meanwhile my firm is growing and doing great. Just get those thoughts of exacting revenge out of your head.

When God closes a door...He often opens a window. You have my prayers, as well.

Most any of us with real life experience have been through this and it is never fun. That said it always seems to work out better in the long run. Its just battling through the time in between that is brutal. Hang in there and be aggressive in your networking and searching.

Losing a job sucks, especially through no fault of your own. So I am not going to say it doesn't. I WILL say that if you are flexible and willing to look at options you will land on your feet in NO TIME!!!

Thanks to all those who prayed for my situation, thank you! May all the glory go to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit for the miracle He has done. I have to admit I was a little shocked I was let go by Bank of America, btw my replacement is someone who is working in India. Despite being let go, I never had a bad feeling, I had a peace something good was coming down the road. I am so glad that in order to get to Heaven or live and love God as a Christian he made it easy for all of us. I never have to understand God just believe Him. And that is what I did.
Reason I was asking about living in Richmond area in another thread was I had a job interview with the Federal Reserve there last Friday 12/14.
Well yesterday I got a job as a contractor there. I will be living there in an apartment and coming home on the weekend. My 86 year old mom lives with me and I take care of her.
My sister will be staying here during the week while I am gone. I believe God will change the heart of my boss (Prov 21:1) so I can work full time from home like I did the last year and a half for the Bank of America. So I will pray for that and will ask for you to join me in that request and thank you if you do.
BTW I got a very good payraise from my last position, I just did the math, a 42% increase.
Yes that is 42% not 4.2%
