recieved another call from my guys- he is still breathing on his own with a RELATIVELY stable heartrate-

evidently we defibrillated him numerous times until he converted.

not sure what happened- please keep him in mind.

thanks

Praying in PA - any update?

just got back from the ICU- wasn't able to speak with him but did sit with the family for a while.

looks like a PE (Pulminary Embolyst) - he'll need to be kept sedated and will be started on Heparin and Coumadin

not sure about thrombylitics, but this remains a very serious situation and I'm asking for continued prayer for him.

he and I are at complete opposite ends of the spectrum with regard to our beliefs, so that is another major request for prayer.

thanks guys

Will do. The docs think a similar thing caused my dad's cardiac issues last spring. Your friend will be in my prayers for both reason.

sorry for the delay-

my friend, amazingly enough- made what will apparently be a full recovery. One day after being admitted in a lethal disrhythmia - he was stabilized and diagnosed with a PE. He's being treated withi thinners and a pacer implant- but we expect a gradual return to complete health. (no brain damage, physical limitations, etc)

thanks so much for all your thoughts and prayers- I continue to remind him that God has plans for his life- though we agree to disagree for now on "religous stuff"
