Prayers needed here in NoVa

I am permantently disabled and in a wheelchair. I am on alot of medication for muscle spasms, pain, tremors and a bunch more. For the last 3 weeks, my blood pressure has been really low. So far, the one doctor who knows how to adjust the medication (the general consensis is that the meds are reacting to each other, causing problems), will not return my phone calls. It is very frustrating, as this has been such a long ordeal. I get dizzy, have headaches and sick to my stomach from the BP being so low. Also sometimes I cannot stay awake. This is a little scary.
Please pray that my doctor will start to care, and will get back to me.
Thank you!
Tracey

Tracey has been on the Liberty boards all the way back to the ancient (and now deceased) Alumni Connections site. She's not one to typically ask for prayers in this regard so if she is asking now it must be particularly painful.
Prayers are being offered up in Houston.

sorry to hear your problems with the doc.
As one who recently switched PCP's I empathize.
don't be afraid to go elsewhere and /or demand answers.

Thanks, everyone. It means alot, more than you know. Since I do not work, and have so much health stuff going on, visitors get tired of coming to see me and I rarely see new faces. I truly think of my on-line friends as more extended family.
I went to see my Primary Care doc. yesterday since the neurologist was not calling. He too is concerned and wants me to come off alot of the meds I am on, but he is not sure the best way to do that without me being in severe pain and having lots of spasms etc. So, he suggested that I try once more to get the neurologist to call me and I did. Of course, I did not hear from her, so I called this morning at his instruction to let him know of the impasse. His nurse called back to say he tried to call my neurologist but her office was closed today. I am guessing it will probably be closed tomorrow also.
I am close to finding another doctor. This is ridiculous and I am fed up. The good news is that this situation has me so upset that my blood pressure is up to normal, sometimes even high.
One way or the other, this WILL be taken care of next week. Even if I have to find another neurologist (most of my meds. affect the nervous system, the reason that I need the direction of a neurologist).
Thanks again for your prayers!

Definately praying here in Halifax. Anti-seizure meds can be nasty as far as side effects.

My doctor finally called back, after I left a message questioning if she was closing shop, and she has recommended two different medications to isolate. In addition, she thinks it could be that because I have horrible circulation in my legs that my blood is not getting pumped back to my heart and that could mess with my blood pressure.
Thank you all for your prayers,
Tracey

After 3 months of wondering, and many many tests, I finally know what was causing all those problems. Bleeding ulcers!
I went to the ER last Friday, thinking I was dehydrated. Turns out, my blood level were way out of whack (too much clotting and not enough oxygen in my blood). I went to ICU and received2 units of blood. That was scary and a long night. They started the transfusion at 9:30 Friday night and it finished around 4 AM.
An edoscopy on Monday showed the ulcers and then the doctors knew that some of my medication irritated the ulcers so they switched that. I will continue to adjust medication as I see new doctors over the course of the next two weeks. The doctors said that if I had been older, I probably would have had a heart attack.
I am feeling stronger now, and am able to keep food down. I was shocked to find out in the hospital on Saturday that I was actually hungry!! I am just supposed to rest and let my body heal.
It will take 2-3 months for the ulcers to heal, then I just have to be careful.
Thank you so much for your prayers! They are greatly appreciated.
