HUGE PRAYER EMERGENCY

Hey guys,

I don't know how many of you will get this real soon but this is a prayer emergency.

My sister Becky was taken into the hospital by the rescue squad last night and she was unconscious. She may have suffered brain damage due to lack of oxygen. The doctors are talking some pretty serious stuff, including the possibility she might not make it. She is on a breathing machine right now. God has raised her up before, but I will praise God no matter the outcome.

I don't know what many of you think about me right now and that is not the point of this. I need you to pray for my sister, the absolute second you finish reading this. She needs to be carried on the wings of the prayers of fellow believers. Tell your friends, tell your parents, tell whoever to pray for my sister and praise with me no matter the outcome. This is the time to put aside whatever issues there may be, and just pray.

Thank you for all your prayers. My sister is responsive now although still unconscious. Keep on praying for her because we don't know if there is any long term effect from this episode

Well she is still in a coma but she is breathing on her own.

It turns out that she had an infection in her lungs and it got into her bloodstream and made a beeline for her brain, causing it to release some sort of toxins or chemicals and resulted in her slipping into a coma. That may have been a protective mechanism but somebody like PA or anybody else on here with some medical expertise could probably explain it in more technical terms. In any case, we are simply waiting for word from the doctors on her coming out of it. I have my phone ready to go when it happens. THe infection has been retreating over the last few days so things are definitely looking up

CONTINUE PRAYING

A nurse went in to brush my sister's teeth tonight and she openend her mouth so she could do that. what is significant about that is that up til now her mouth would be clenched shut They are going to back her off some of her medication and see if that helps her to wake up from the coma so do keep praying for that

I'm praying as I get off the computer now. Guess it's a good idea to start with chapel instead of goin' down line after "Lynch. Life." Glad to hear things improving.

My sister continues to make strides in the right direction. Got a call yesterday morning from my mom saying she was moving all over the bed (kinda like someone who can't find just the right position to sleep in). She still is unconscious but this is a sign of definite brain activity. I think she sees the light at the end of the tunnel and will be out of this soon! Continue to pray please!
