Prayer for my Dad

hello everyone. if you would say a quick prayer for my Dad today as he is having a biopsy today, mainly as a precautionary measure. my dad is tough as nails as acts like it's NBD, but i have to assume he is a bit nervous. in any regard i would appreciate the prayers.

well my dad has cancer. he will not know the severity of it till monday when he meets with his doctor. my dad said the doctor told him it was "slight" what ever that means. please pray for him and my mom. they act like it's no big deal, but im upset about it.

Man that C word just makes us all nervous. We have seen how it can affect a family. Earnest prayers coming from Richmond my friend.

to be clear it is prostate cancer. i had a scare with this last year as some on the board may know, so it is really hitting home. to all men, please do not neglect your checkups yealry esp as you get older.

here is the latest update. i consider it upbeat as the cancer has not spread.
the cancer is isolated to the prostate only and he has 3 options:
1. surgery to remove it
2. radiation
2. wait and see approach
the surgery is a risk because of my dad's heart trouble. he had a bypass years ago. he is to meet with the radiologist in a few weeks, and the surgeon who would do the surgery if he chose the week after that. my dad said he is leaning toward surgery, but he will have various opinions forthcoming in the next few weeks. again, i appreciate all the prayers!
