In Honor of the passing of Dr. Jerry Falwell.
Dr. Jerry Falwell had a great love for the Gideon Ministry. He told the story many times, that as his father lay on his deathbed, how he was led to the Lord by a Gideon and a Presbyterian Minister. Through Dr. Falwell’s radio and television ministries, that story has been heard across the country and undoubtedly, opened many doors for Gideon’s that would not be open today. His influence and support for the Gideon Ministry will be greatly missed.
We should take it upon ourselves at the camp level to honor Dr. Falwell, using the Memorial Bible plan to place Bibles in his name.
The Gideon’s International has had no better friend in the pulpit, than Dr. Jerry Falwell.
