Pray for our Home to sell

Hello-

My wife and I received the first real promising bite on our house today. To make a long story short – a friend of ours from church (Katrina) has a sister & brother in law moving here from Florida. We shared with our friend that we were willing to sell REAL low once our real estate contract expires in July. Katrina told her father about our home and HE is thinking about buying it! Apparently he is interested in buying the home to let his daughter live in while they get settled and find work. If they settle nearby, then he and his wife may move into the home or keep it as an investment. He is going to look at the house today. Pray that it goes well!

For those that don't know me -

My wife and I are in the process of leaving a ministry to return to Lynchburg for seminary. Our last day is June 3rd and we head to VA on June 4th to find work!

Selling a house is rarely a pleasant experience (can I get a witness from the other Old Hags?). While this lead sounds promising, I'm going to pray that you get a contract on your house even sooner for your full asking price. We're commanded by God to ask for the desires of our heart. I have a strong positive feeling about this.

Sly is pulling out Psalms 37:4. I guess that OT Survey class paid off after all.

Back in my day, we had Old Testament Survey I and Old Testament Survey II ... same deal fro New Testament. And yes, that is what I was referring to in this instance.

My prayers are with you in this...
...my wife and I faced the same thing when we moved here in 2000.

Going through it right now myself. We have had a ton of traffic and the house shows well but so far no buyers. We are patient though but it would be nice to sell. Kind of sad to sell too but believe me I will be in Lynchburg a lot esp during football and basketball seasons.
