Our Christian foundation is what makes our university unique. This is the place to bring prayer requests, discuss theological issues and how to become better Champions for Christ.

As most of us now, today has been dedicated as a "national day of prayer." I thought that perhaps we could have our own prayer on here throughout the day. So, please bring your thoughts and prayers here throughout the day.

I would like to start, by sending a prayer to our Lord and Savior for all of the men and women who are in leadership in our nation: President Bush and his family, Vice President Chaney and his family, the Senate, House of Reps., Supreme Court, Governor Kaine and his family.

I would also like to pray for the families and friends associated with the VT tragedy, as most of the nation has moved on, they are still left grieving. May God be made known to them, and be The Great Comforter that He is.

Lord, thank you for my salvation and my wife, that you blessed me with. Lord, please help my two boys, Jonathan and Nathanael to understand their need of salvation. I know Jonathan is close, but please help them see their need. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

Prayers for the University itself, from Dr. Falwell all the way down to the maintance workers who maintain the university day-to-day. Even with our criticisms of the campus itself, thank you Father for the gift of an education and such a place as this for us to receive it in. In the name of Christ Jesus, amen.

God, thank you for your SON who loved us enough to honor his Father and do your will as well as love some like me to give up his life, and still continue to love me. Thank you for my family, dogs, the very land I live on, home and the good health I have. Thank you for letting me be born in America, and thank you for the opportunity to attend LBC. May you continue to bless the good people on this website, the students at LU both past, present and future in the years to come. May you grant Dr. Falwell many more good years on this earth. May LU continue to grow in the path of righteouness for your name and be a light until the world.
Amen!
