Prayer Request for a Friend

I just got a message that one of my best friends has been hospitalized in the Intensive Care Neurology Unit at Lynchburg General. He had a seizure at work this afternoon and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. They discharged him, and when he and his wife were leaving, he had another seizure. He's been unconscious since then.

This guy is one my lifelong friends. We lived on Dorm 7-1 together for three years. He was a groomsman at my wedding. I'm a little overwhelmed with helplessness at the moment, and I'm sure they are as well. If I didn't have to finish my shift at work, I'd be at the hospital.

Please pray for Mark. From what I know so far, this is a bad situation.

He's awake now, but they still don't have a clue as to what's happening. The CAT scans didn't produce any useful information, so hopefully the next battery of tests in the morning will help. He's suffering from some pretty bad memory loss, both short and long term.

Thanks for all of the prayers, and please feel free to keep them going.

He's been discharged, but the docs still aren't giving a solid reason as to why this has happened. Hopefully I'll have more to tell you all later tonight.

Thank you very much for all of your prayers.
