1st please pray for travel safety-my husband will be coming back from Lynchurg to CT probably today (it's abt. 1:30 am as I type). Explanation abt. his spontaneous trip across the Mason-Dixon line (my friend joked that it doesn't fall within acceptable parmeters of anger management) is in the Lynch Life forum under "Realtor."
So the 2nd request is that we become a healthy blended family; its been a loooong 5 yrs.
3rd-not in importance- my paterna grandmother passed away March 1; we went down to Jersey last week for services. She went in the hospital with pnemonia and had kidney problems.... She was 91 and had "spunk"- did well for several years depite diabetes and heart issues. She used to live in Clifton, NJ and loved going to NYC. She complained abt. Tuckerton being a "dinky town."
I have no more grandparents.
My uncle-mother's brother- lost his wife (a bit younger than him in mid 50's) a couple wks. ago. I don't think he and his family are saved. I want to stay in better touch ith my cousin and his wife....
Abt. 1 wk. after we went up to MA for the viewing-and 3 days before our grandmother passed- my sister had a c-section. She and Emily are great but baby is in a harness to correct a hip problem that could otherwise give her athritis when she's bt. my age.
We went up to MA 4 times (abt. 2 and 1/2 hr. each round trip) plus to NJ in the past few wks. One of the MA trips incl. bringing my son to and from a visit w/ his father who hadn't contacted him in at. 2 yrs.!! My son wanted to see him so when paternal grandparents were in the area from Oregon I looked up old #'s and tracked him down. Please pray for my son and our family-incl. relationship w/ his stepdad- as well as his father's repons./maturity.

I would like to add that even though many of you are po' if anyone wants to give to World Team in memory of Evelyn Crapser- my grandmother-my aunt works there; I saw the WorldTeam lit. when I was down at LU.
Thanks for the varied prayers- for my sanity too and that my son does well in school despite everything being crzy lately. We've got more field trips and activities.... He signed up for Exchange City in NH (we'll coordinate that with seeing my husb.'s dad and stepmom in June- they live by the shore); it's a mini city that the kids run; we have work to do 2 months ahead-like send a resume'. We'll be going to Westfield State (MA) for a Homeschool Field Day at the end of this month- it's close to where my sister lives so I hope to see the new baby again; it's also near my son's father. In June we'll go to Phili to Franklin Institute for King Tut. MEDIC and ?- did you guys see the "Funky Tut steps" pic. in your paper- my aunt that works at World Team gave us a copy; we'll be staying with her for the 1st weekend in June.

So travel prayers for the next 3 months are much ppreciated-esp. June. My family might trvel down here in April for my daughter's b-day. One closing comment for those of you who like numbers: not only are the girl's -mine and my sister's- initials "commutative" but they are 37 days short of 4 yrs. apart and my sister and I are 3yrs. plus 37 days apart AND she is turning 37 this yr. (don't tell her I said).

wow- your plate is certainly full.

best of luck w/ all that, and I think you'll love the Franklin Institute. We're gonna try to get down there one of these days. Another good stop is the Museum of Natural History across the street, as well as the Art Museum, just above them.

SCAR can vouch for that as well- probably FlameDad too.

Crayola factory in Easton is a fav destination for our boy here.

The kids get to do a project and bring home a little box of crayone. that and there's a MickeyD's on the ground floor level.

its a fun 1/2 day trip, actually.

And I thought I had a lot going on in the Sly Fox household. :)

Sorry to hear of the many losses in your family. But it sounds like progress is being made nonetheless.

Absolutely - try to pick a sunny day (of course) and you are in walking distance of many great sites in addition to the ones above.
The Franklin Institute is a must see.
