Prayers for family/friends in California

Hey everyone, as a lot of you know my family and I are from California and moved to VA about 2 and a half years ago.

I ask for prayer for my family and friends that are still out there in the foothills. My in laws were evacuated last night and believe they lost their home along with my wife's aunt and uncle's home. My parents have all their stuff packed up and are ready to leave at a moments notice but the fire would have to jump a few more rural highways to get to them. Just pray that everyone is safe, including all of the personnel fighting the fire.

Thanks everyone, you may now carry on with your regular Friday evening activities.

That is awful! We see these stories in the news and often feel disconnected. This is a reminder that we need to pray for each other You can count on them from me, YR.

Praying for your family and the fires out west.

Appreciate it, wild fires are something I grew up with but this one is growing fast due to the drought, making it a challenge. In addition a lot of the local lakes that typically supply water to the air support are at historic lows right now.

Thanks, fire has grown quite a bit overnight but they are holding the line toward my parents house. Still not sure if my in laws house made it or not. They are right inside the fire line and there has been no movement in that area overnight so it appears they are holding that area pretty well.
