A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to go to Hope of Life in Guatemala with a group from my church. It was amazing to see what is being done at that facility in a country that is in desperate need of help. Delivering a practical gospel is the name of the game down there.
Anyway, while I was there I spent a lot of time chatting with people from other groups that were visiting HoL. Out of the nearly 120 people that were there from all around the country, I met 24 who were associated with Liberty University in some way (current students, alumni, students attending for the first time this fall). It makes me really proud to be associated with a place that encourages people to have such a heart for missions even long after they leave the mountain.
Go us.
